ExtraCare Charitable Trust are looking for a Peripatetic Wellbeing Advisor and (Student Support)!
Are you an experienced Peripatetic Wellbeing Advisor looking to develop your career with an award-winning, forward-thinking charity?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Peripatetic Wellbeing Advisor to join our team based at our Head Office in Coventry. As a dual-function role, the post holder will support both the delivery of the Gold Standards Framework (GSF) across locations and provide relief cover for Wellbeing Advisor services within the South region.
The role is split across two core functions:
- Supporting students within our locations, providing induction, drop-in opportunities, and face-to-face support where required for our students.
- Providing operational wellbeing support to ensure continuity of resident services.
In addition, the post holder will offer ad hoc support to student placements when working within services.
Key Duties
Wellbeing Advisor Responsibilities:
- Provide relief cover for Wellbeing Advisor roles across designated locations.
- Ensure continuity of wellbeing services during staff absence or service need.
- Work collaboratively with location teams to support a positive move-in process for potential residents.
- Support wellbeing activities and resident engagement.
- Ensure continuity of services.

Student Placement Support:
- Provide informal support and guidance to students on placement when working within locations.
- Promote a positive learning environment and support student engagement in practice.
- Liaise with relevant teams where required to support placement experience.
- Visit students whilst on placement to offer support and guidance.
- Carry out initial online induction with students.
About you:
- Relevant health/social care qualification.
- Knowledge of ExtraCare’s student services.
- Experience of supporting students during placement.
- Competent IT skills for documentation and communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners (e.g., healthcare professionals/HEIs).

- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Job type: Permanent/Full-Time
- Salary: £29,700 - £33,300 per annum
