Wild Farm is a small, no till, regenerative market garden that grows specifically for a family of cafes and restaurants in Hertfordshire. (Wild Farm, Cafe in the Park and Daisy & Co.) We are a small friendly team of workers and volunteers who strive to have connections with the Chefs and kitchens that we grow for and to be able to provide high quality, local produce for both evening restaurant service and daytime cafes. We are not organically certified but use organic seed and practices where possible and adopt a regenerative and nature friendly approach to growing. The site is 4 acres with 115 x10 metre growing beds, a glasshouse, 1 large polytunnel and 4 small polytunnels.
With a recent increase in our current growing area alongside exciting developments in our restaurants, we are looking for an experienced grower to join our team.
The nearest train station is Radlett which is a 30 minute walk to site or a 20 minute bike ride. Own transport is essential as occasional work at restaurant gardens may be required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
