Permanent Electrician

Meridian are working with a Burnley-based company that cover MEP fit-out projects across the UK and are growing their team of permanent Electricians in an exciting period of growth. They specialise in commercial fit-out projects, winning lots of retail projects with major names and upcoming work already secured.

If you're an ambitious Electrician looking for a permanent role with a wide variety of projects offering great earning potential, then this role is perfect for you!

Requirements

Requirements for this role:

  • Gold JIB card
  • BS7671 18th Edition
  • 2391 Testing Qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Previous experience in commercial and industrial projects such as offices, retail, commercial building fit outs etc.
  • Must have a strong compliance and HSE focus, prioritising safety and correct standards of Electrical installation
  • Full, UK Driving Licence (there will be travel involved in this role)
  • Ability to work nationwide

  • Commercial fit out installations in various environments across the UK
  • Ability to safely Inspect & Test electrical installations and sign off work
  • Working at a fast pace, sometimes in live, working environments so a focus on customer-service and Health & Safety is imperative
  • Working closely with Electricians on site as well as management teams to provide technical support on project reports and sign-offs
  • Keeping up to date with industry regulations and HSE governing bodies to ensure compliance and accurate Inspection & Testing reports
