Permanent Experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon ~ Come Join Our Independent Family.
We’re looking for an experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join our long-established independent practice and become part of a team that genuinely enjoys working together.
First things first… we’re incredibly proud of the people who work here. Many of our team have been with us for years, and that’s because we’ve worked hard to create a supportive, friendly environment where good vets can do what they do best.
If you still enjoy the variety that mixed practice brings and want to work somewhere that values both clinical standards and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you 💙
What You’ll Be Doing
- Enjoying a genuinely varied mixed caseload:
- ~80% small animal
- ~15% equine
- ~5% farm
- A mix of consults, surgery, ambulatory work and everything in between
- Working alongside an experienced, supportive team who are always happy to help
- Building great relationships with clients who value continuity and personal service

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
