Position: Recruitment Consultant
Company: Reed Cambridge Industrial
Location: Reed Cambridge - Unit 7, CC7, 8 Clifton Ct, Clifton Rd, Cambridge CB1 7BN
Hybrid: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home after the initial induction period
Salary: £27,500 - £37,000 dependent on experience + uncapped bonus
Contract: Full Time and Permanent

Reed Cambridge is looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our team, managing a warm and high-potential Industrial desk recruiting across the Cambridgeshire area.

About the role
You’ll take ownership of an Industrial desk. You’ll work closely with local clients, becoming their go-to recruitment partner while growing your market through proactive outbound business development. This role is office-based in Cambridge and involves regular client visits across the local patch.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing new and existing client relationships across Cambridge and surrounding areas
- Meeting clients on-site to understand hiring needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions
- Sourcing, engaging and managing candidates through advertising, networking and referrals
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from initial brief to placement and aftercare
- Working towards clear KPIs while building a sustainable, profitable desk
