Purpose of the position

As Permit to Work Coordinator in the HSE team, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring all PTW systems. You will be authorized and trained to coordinate the process of all Permits, to identify potential conflicting work tasks on a geographical and time basis. You will manage the PTW office and chair a daily PTW coordination meeting. You will join our Liverpool Bay decommissioning and carbon capture project.

How can you support us?

Here are your responsibilities:

  • Assessing permit requests
  • Conducting walkthroughs of site areas covered under permit requests.
  • Collaborating with Area Authorities, Performing Authorities, etc.
  • Ensuring corresponding control of work documents (Isolations, Gas Testing, exclusion drawings, P&ID's, etc.) are valid, implemented, and correctly referenced.
  • Issuing and authorising permits
  • Coordination with Teams (Principal Contractor, Contractors, and Subcontractors)
  • Management of Simultaneous Operations and oversight of site activities.
  • Monitoring active permits
  • Hazard Identification
  • Managing close-outs
  • Maintaining the permit register
  • Auditing and compliance monitoring of the system
  • Maintaining oversight of site activities to ensure effective permit control and management of Simultaneous Operations.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience: Proven experience as PTW Officer or similar within the Oil&Gas industry

  • Contractor position, 2-year contract. Full-time 5.5 days per week
