Location: Station Road

Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse and exciting east-London borough. What we do is driven by changing our relationship with local people to support our vision. As a result, we've developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council.

We're one of the fastest growing parts of the country and the third most diverse London borough. Our communities are attracted by a mixture of excellent schools, relatively affordable housing, high-quality open space and rapid transport connections into the heart of the City.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) worker to join a team of advisers working with NEET (Not in Education, Employment and Training) and pre NEET young people in Redbridge.

Redbridge Connexions Personal Advisers are responsible for engaging with young people aged 16-18 (and up to 25 for those with Special Educational Needs/Disabilities - SEND) who are at risk of disengaging from education, training & employment or who have become NEET. A particular focus of the work includes supporting vulnerable groups including Care Experienced Young People and young people with SEND from year 9 upwards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
