We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Administrator/Personal Assistant to join a public sector organisation on a temporary basis. This is a three-month, part-time contract based in Manchester city centre, offering hybrid working and flexibility over working days and hours.
The successful candidate will provide proactive administrative and organisational support to senior leaders and wider teams, helping to keep diaries, meetings and day-to-day activity running smoothly.
This varied, hands-on role will suit someone who is highly organised, comfortable managing competing priorities and confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing complex diaries and scheduling meetings and appointments across multiple senior stakeholders
- Coordinating meeting logistics, including room bookings, virtual meeting arrangements and attendee communications
- Preparing agendas, supporting papers and other meeting documentation
- Attending meetings where required and producing accurate, timely minutes and action logs
- Tracking actions and following up with stakeholders to support timely completion
- Providing general administrative support to senior leaders and wider teams
- Assisting with presentations, reports and correspondence
- Acting as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

Experience Required
- Previous experience in an Office Administrator, Personal Assistant, Team Assistant, Executive Assistant or similar administrative support role
- Strong diary management and meeting coordination experience
- Experience taking professional meeting minutes and maintaining action trackers
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and build effective stakeholder relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- The discretion and professionalism required to handle confidential information
- A flexible, adaptable approach and experience supporting senior leaders or executive teams
