Personal Assistant | Healthcare | Private Hospital | Part-time | Permanent | 20 hours per week | Southampton

Spire Southampton Hospital, has an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to the Hospital Director and the Director of Clinical Services on a Part-time, permanent basis.

Our Critical Care department and multidisciplinary team offer you peace of mind for our wide range of treatments.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 20 hrs per week working 4 hours per day

Contract type: Permanent

As Personal Assistant, you will provide PA support to the Hospital Director and Head of Clinical Services, facilitating the smooth operation of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Hospital Director (HD) and Director of Clinical Services (DoCS) offices in achieving high standards in terms of efficiency, presentation standards and customer care.
  • Provision of administrative support to the Hospital Director and the Director of Clinical services (DoCS).
  • Organise and prepare for meetings with internal/external parties including production of agendas and minutes. Attend these meetings as required and distribute documentation.
  • Assisting in organising the daily schedule of the HD/ DoCS
  • Arranging events and forums
  • Submitting expenses
  • Files and document organisation/ management
  • Dealing with a wide range of telephone enquiries

Applicants must have:

  • Proven track record of holding a similar position, preferably at senior management level
  • PA experience who understands diary management and can provide a high level of personal support
  • Excellent IT skills - highly proficient in MS Word, and a good knowledge of Power point and Excel
  • Accurate, fast typing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and offering support and advice where needed
  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage and prioritise own workload and work to deadlines
