Cathedral Appointments is recruiting on behalf of a purpose-driven organisation based in Exeter. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a highly organised and professional Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to their Chief Executive Officer.
The Role
As Personal Assistant to the CEO, you'll sit at the heart of the organisation, managing the CEO's time, priorities and commitments with efficiency and discretion. You'll coordinate a busy and varied diary, arrange travel and support key business activities, acting as a trusted point of contact for stakeholders at every level. This role suits someone with proven PA, EA or senior administrative experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the CEO's diary, meetings and appointments.
- Organise travel, accommodation and itineraries.
- Prepare meeting agendas, papers and briefing materials.
- Support Board, leadership and governance meetings.
- Take notes and track actions where required.
- Manage correspondence and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle confidential and commercially sensitive information appropriately.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or senior administrative support role.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive and solutions focused approach.
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Copilot.
- Experience supporting a CEO, Managing Director, Board or Senior Leadership Team is advantageous.
