The Opportunity
A highly regarded, independent London law firm is seeking an experienced Legal PA to join its Corporate team.
The firm has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, commercially focused legal advice to a diverse client base, including established corporates, entrepreneurial businesses, investors, and prominent organisations. The culture is collaborative, professional, and entrepreneurial, with an emphasis on providing an excellent client service while giving individuals the opportunity to make a genuine contribution.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Legal PA who enjoys working in a fast-paced corporate environment and supporting multiple fee earners across a varied workload.
The Role
You will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to several fee earners within the Corporate team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and preparing dictation for multiple fee earners.
- Supporting client onboarding, including obtaining KYC documentation, issuing SmartSearch requests, completing AML documentation, and obtaining relevant Companies House information.
- Preparing and sending conflict checks and undertaking sanctions checks on third parties.
- Processing incoming and outgoing monies using relevant financial systems.
- Preparing bills and assisting with financial administration.
- Supporting the firm's telephone rota.
- Verifying bank details with external firms and individuals prior to payments being made.
- Creating, amending, and formatting legal documents.
- Converting documents between formats and ensuring documents comply with house style.
- Providing general administrative and organisational support to the Corporate team as required.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have at least two years' experience as a Legal PA, preferably within a corporate or commercial legal environment.
You will have:
- A strong understanding of legal secretarial responsibilities within a corporate practice.
- Confidence liaising with clients, agents, and third parties.
- Excellent document production skills, including dictation, version control, document comparisons, conversions, cross-referencing, formatting, and engrossments.
- Experience using DocuSign; Mail Merge experience would be advantageous.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritise competing deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a polished and professional client-facing manner.
- Strong proofreading and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with relevant legal technology and software, such as Microsoft Word, iManage, BigHand, Workshare Compare, Outlook, and Excel.
- A high level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and commercially sensitive information.
- A proactive, practical, and solutions-focused approach to supporting a busy legal team.
