Job Description
Job Type: Permanent
Location: This role is based in our London office. The role is hybrid; however, it would require 2 – 3 days in the London office per week

Salary and benefits: £38,000-£45,000 depending on experience plus an indicative bonus range of 8% to 16%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the General Counsel function at Standard Life to become Personal Assistant to 2 x Legal Directors. The role is hybrid; however, it would require 2 – 3 days in the London office per week. You will provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing diaries, email correspondence and function events. This is a fast-paced role with fantastic opportunities to work with a brilliant team as well as opening engaging opportunities within the PA function. The perfect candidate would be approachable, calm under pressure and adaptable.
What are we looking for?
- Provide a highly efficient, reliable and fully proactive PA service to the Director/s to support their business effectiveness
- Undertake effective diary and email management, to ensure the Director’s time is spent effectively
- Being able to deal with multiple tasks and issues simultaneously
- Being able to be adapt and shift approach to a range of business processes and stakeholders
- Anticipating the demands and pressures placed on the Director/s in order to prioritise work accordingly
- Proactively identify and highlight issues for the Director/s to action to ensure appropriate prioritisation is made and deadlines are met
- Working with highly confidential and sensitive material and maintaining professionalism at all times
- Produce or collate written documentation, communications etc as required, to a high standard of accuracy and quality to ensure the Director/s are well equipped for meetings and to support decision making
- Collate and present key management information & plans as required to support the Director/s and their business area
- Co-ordinate centralised processes such as travel bookings, expense claims etc for the Director and their teams
