Job Description
Legal PA required to join the Real Estate team of a leading international law firm in Edinburgh on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. This role is 9-5pm, Monday to Friday with 2 days a week working from home offered.
Working within a fantastic team of PAs across the Edinburgh and Glasgow offices this is a wonderful role for someone who enjoys a collaborative and friendly environment.
Responsibilities
This role involves providing proactive support to a team of Partners and fee earners. Alongside traditional PA responsibilities, you will play an important role across matter management, billing and finance, business development and client support.

- Comprehensive diary management, forward planning and coordinating meetings and travel
- Organising complex travel arrangements and identifying cost-effective options
- Preparing meeting packs, itineraries and coordinating meeting rooms and hospitality
- Supporting fee earners with client billing, financial reports, matter balances and working capital
- Managing matter opening and closing processes, including engagement letters and matter specifications
- Supporting conflict checks, Client Due Diligence and Client Matter Inception processes
- Working closely with Business Development on events, conferences, CRM administration, pitches and tenders
- Supporting Client Relationship Partners with meetings, events and client reporting
- Coordinating document production and wider administrative support

Requirements
We are looking for someone with at least two years' PA or Secretarial experience, or equivalent, gained within a legal setting. Prior exposure to Real Estate law is helpful but not essential.
Our client is happy to wait notice for the right person, and there is certainly scope for longer term career opportunities in the firm beyond this contract.
