Personal Assistant - Eastleigh, Hampshire

Supporting the CEO of an innovative technology start-up that's making waves in the high-tech engineering sector.

This is an office-based position with 5 days a week in Eastleigh – 37.5 hours a week with some flexibility on start and finish times.

You'll be joining a fast-growing business where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact. As the company expands into new markets, develops new systems and continues to innovate, you'll play a key role at the centre of the action, supporting the CEO and helping the business achieve its ambitious goals.

The CEO is approachable, energetic and has a great sense of humour. He works at pace, so you'll enjoy staying one step ahead, anticipating what is needed and adapting quickly to changing priorities. You'll also need to be comfortable with his friendly dog, who makes the occasional appearance in the office!

The Role

As Personal Assistant to the CEO, you'll become his trusted aide, ensuring his day runs smoothly and allowing him to focus on driving the business forward.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a busy and ever-changing diary.
  • Triaging emails, handling confidential and commercially sensitive information, and drafting responses.
  • Preparing board packs, investor presentations and briefing documents.
  • Coordinating board meetings, leadership meetings and ensuring actions are followed through.
  • Maintaining operational trackers, documentation and reporting on key business initiatives.
  • Organising UK and international travel, accommodation and detailed itineraries.
  • Coordinating internal events, conferences and external meetings.
  • Managing expenses and supporting wider business administration.
  • Occasionally accompanying the CEO on UK and overseas business trips.

About you

You'll already have gained over 2 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or senior administrative support role and enjoy being the person who keeps everything organised behind the scenes.

You'll be someone who:

  • Has excellent diary management and organisational skills.
  • Communicates confidently with senior leaders, clients and technical teams.
  • Can be trusted to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Thrives in a growing business where priorities can change quickly.
  • Enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and finding practical solutions.
  • Has excellent attention to detail when preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.
  • Is flexible, proactive and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team in an SME environment.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: Up to £35,000 plus discretionary annual performance bonus of up to £5,800.
