Personal Assistant / Administrator
Edstart is looking for an organised and proactive Personal Assistant / Administrator to support the Owner and help keep Head Office and franchise administration running smoothly. This varied part-time role suits someone who follows things through, keeps accurate records and is comfortable speaking with colleagues and franchisees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Owner’s diary, arrange meetings and prepare relevant information in advance.
- Attend meetings when required, take clear minutes and track agreed actions.
- Answer calls, record messages and pass relevant details to the right person.
- Provide general administrative support, including correspondence, filing and information gathering.
- Request and follow up documents from franchisees, including insurance policies and central record information.
- Maintain organised records and flag missing or expiring documents to the appropriate manager.
- Follow up uniform, marketing and stationery orders with suppliers and colleagues.
- Collect and check timesheets for designated franchise areas, resolving missing information before submission.
- Help prepare for meetings and visitors, including refreshments and room setup.
- Handle confidential staff, franchise and business information with care.

What We Are Looking For
Essential
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Clear written and spoken communication.
- Confidence using email, calendars, spreadsheets and shared documents.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and follow up without repeated prompting.
- A professional, discreet and helpful approach.

Desirable
- Previous PA, office administration or franchise support experience.
- Experience maintaining compliance records or processing timesheets.
- A good understanding of CRM systems, including maintaining accurate records, updating contact information and tracking communications.
- Working knowledge of Xero, including processing invoices, recording expenses and maintaining accurate financial records.
The successful candidate will be dependable, comfortable with a varied workload and willing to take ownership of routine tasks so that managers can focus on their core responsibilities.
