Are you an experienced Personal Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and takes pride in delivering exceptional support to senior leaders? We're looking for a highly professional and proactive Personal Assistant to support our Director of West Midlands Network, providing the organisation, coordination, and insight that enables effective leadership across a critical operational area. This role will involve regular travel across our West Midlands network footprint, giving you the opportunity to work closely with leaders and teams across the region.

You'll also act as an important link between senior leadership and employees across all levels of the organisation, helping to maintain effective communication and engagement.
This is a highly visible role where you'll build strong relationships, handle confidential information with discretion, identify opportunities to improve ways of working, and make a genuine contribution to the success of the West Midlands Network.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
