Personal Assistant - Carbeth Project

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £13.45 per hour

Position Type: Part Time Permanent

About The Role

Glasgow

Nightshift - Various contracts available

We are looking for caring, reliable and motivated Personal Assistants to join our dedicated team in Carbeth House.

As a Personal Assistant, you will provide person-centred support, helping the people we support to live independently, achieve their personal goals and take part in the activities that matter most to them.

Support May Include

  • Personal care and maintaining personal wellbeing
  • Medication support where required
  • Moving and handling support
  • Supporting daily living tasks and household activities
  • Accompanying individuals to appointments and social activities
  • Promoting choice, independence and inclusion within the community
  • Providing emotional support and encouragement to achieve personal outcomes

About S

S enjoys getting out and about in his local community, visiting cafes, visiting the seaside, eating out in his favourite Italian restaurants and generally making the most of every day. At home, he enjoys watching the news and current affairs programs then chatting about these with staff. Watching football and following his team play and loves to sit and chat about his family and what they have been up to as well as listening to staff and their stories.

S receives support seven days a week, throughout the day to help him maintain his independence and continue enjoying the activities that are important to him.
