Working Alongside Disabled People | Promoting Choice, Control and Autonomy

2–4 Days per Week | Possible Sleep-Ins

Are you an exceptional organiser who enjoys making things happen? I'm looking for a highly organised, proactive and professional individual to become a key part of Quirky Advocates. This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines excellent administrative and coordination skills with a genuine commitment to promoting independence and equality for disabled people.

This is not a traditional care role, working for a non-traditional disabled woman (Director/Founder of Quirky Advocates).

You'll be responsible for coordinating Personal Assistants, managing day-to-day logistics, attending appointments, assisting with problem-solving and providing Personal Assistant cover yourself. No two days are the same.

This role would suit someone with experience as a Personal Assistant, or an experienced Personal Assistant looking to take on greater responsibility.

About Me

As a disabled person myself, I lead a busy and active life and believe disabled people should have the same opportunities, choices, rights and autonomy as anyone else.

Personal Assistants are professionals who work with me—not for me—and are valued members of the team. Mutual respect, trust and professionalism are at the heart of how we work together.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

It's about assisting PA Users to live an independent, professional and fulfilling life by coordinating people, solving problems, planning ahead and making things happen.

You'll have genuine responsibility, variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day.

Why We Use the Title Personal Assistant

We deliberately use the term Personal Assistant (P.A.) because it reflects a professional relationship between PAs and PA Users.

Terms such as Carer, Support Worker or Enabler often imply that someone is being looked after. A Personal Assistant works alongside a PA User, assisting them to live the life they choose.
