Hours: 4 hours per week
PA to be flexible between Friday evening and Saturday/Sunday afternoon
Rate: £16.00 per hour
Area: Rowlands Gill, Gateshead
To support a teenager with autism and an intellectual disability with personal care, having a meal and engaging with activities within the home
Responsibilities/duties
- Personal care and toileting as required
- Preparing a simple meal and encouraging oral intake
- Engaging with activities within the home/garden such as art, playing with toys, reading books, Lego, etc. Occasionally assisting
- Occasionally assisting with parent to access the local community

We Are Looking For
- Someone caring and trustworthy
- Someone with care experience, particularly supporting people with autism, challenging behaviour, and have an awareness of sensory issues
- A car driver is desirable but not essential
