Part time contract; 8 hours per week
Shift pattern; 9:00 - 17:00 with overtime available including overnight support and Weekends

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!
Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.
Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and aspirations of the people we support are met.

Let Us Introduce You To Maureen
Maureen lives in her own flat, and loves living in the village of Blackburn. A typical day could be going to the knitting or dancing group, then nipping to the shops. Maureen likes to go for a walk every day to keep fit, and loves the beautiful Dunecht Estate especially. In her downtime, Maureen loves to keep up the soaps on TV, and she is a whizz at the game shows too. Maureen receives support 7 days a week, from 09:00 - 17:00 and 17:00 to overnight with staff sleeping over. It is not always possible for Maureen to enjoy life's 'simple pleasures' in her community without proper, dedicated support.

Where required, Enable will fully fund SVQ Health and Social Care qualifications – required for SSSC registration.
