Hours: Shifts run 24 hours 8am-8am, 1 per week.
Rate: £14.04 per hour
Location: Rowlands Gill, Gateshead
Driving Licence: Essential
Personal Assistant / Childcare Support Needed ✨
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Personal Assistant to support a young child and their mother, who has a physical disability, within their home. This role focuses on helping with the child’s daily care and routines, while also providing practical support within the household.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily care of a young child (e.g., dressing, bathing, feeding, playtime)
- Support the mother with physical tasks related to childcare that she is unable to carry out
- Light household duties related to the child (e.g., tidying play areas, preparing simple meals)
- Accompany the family to appointments, outings, or activities

Ideal Candidate
- Kind, patient, and child focused
- Trustworthy, punctual
- Comfortable assisting with physical tasks (a genuine requirement of the role)
- Experience with childcare or support work is helpful but not essential
- DBS/Background check required (will be provided)
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
