Personal Assistant Wanted to Support an 18-Year-Old with a Fun, Active Lifestyle
Location: North Tyneside
Hours: Flexible
Rate of Pay: £13.50 per hour
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Personal Assistant (PA) to support an 18-year-old male who enjoys golfing, gaming, football, and getting out and about. This is a great role for someone who’s upbeat, patient, and happy to build a positive working relationship over time.
You’ll be working in a relaxed family environment with two affectionate dogs and a cat who love a cuddle, so being comfortable around animals is essential.

Your support will include:
- Gaming together – from casual sessions to shared interests in new releases
- Eating out – cafés, restaurants, and trying new places
- Building confidence to explore more activities outside the family home as the relationship develops
- Encouraging independence, social opportunities, and fun
- De-escalate meltdowns, and to support with regulation if overwhelmed
This is a role where connection matters. As trust grows, the activities you do together will expand to match his interests and goals.
Who We’re Looking For
Someone who is:
- Friendly, patient, and easy to get along with
- Has experience of working with young people that present with Neurodiversity
- Ability to de-escalate meltdowns, and to support with regulation if overwhelmed
- Happy to share interests in gaming, sport, or general social activities
- Comfortable around pets
- Reliable, respectful, and able to maintain appropriate boundaries
