We are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant to join an established organisation in Peterborough on a temporary basis.
This is a varied and responsible role providing high-level administrative and organisational support to the Chief Executive, as well as supporting Board and Trustee activity. You’ll need to be confident managing competing priorities, working with senior stakeholders and handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the Chief Executive’s diary, coordinating appointments and assisting with correspondence
- Arranging UK and international travel and accommodation for the Chief Executive
- Preparing papers, documents and presentations for meetings and conferences
- Supporting the planning and organisation of Board and sub-committee meetings
- Collating, preparing and circulating meeting papers and supporting documentation
- Coordinating travel and accommodation requirements for Trustees
- Supporting the induction and onboarding of new Trustees
- Providing wider administrative and organisational support as required

About You
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change. You will ideally have:
- Previous experience working as a PA, EA or in a similar senior administrative support role
- Experience supporting senior leaders, Directors or C-suite executives
- Excellent diary management and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence liaising with senior stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and use your initiative
The Opportunity
- Location: Peterborough – Hybrid Working
- Salary: £16.00 – £19.00 per hour DOE
- Contract: Temporary
- Hours: Monday – Friday
This is a great opportunity for an experienced PA or EA looking for a temporary assignment within a professional and supportive organisation. The role offers hybrid working, with a mixture of home and office-based working in Peterborough.
