Job Title: Personal Assistant
Location: Blucher, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Hours:
- Term time: 5 hours per week
- School holiday: 10 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £14.50 per hour
Job Purpose
I am looking for a caring and proactive Personal Assistant to support me in caring for Michael, my energetic and loving 7-year-old, both at home and out in the community. Your role will be crucial in helping Michael stay safe while engaging in the activities he enjoys, assisting with one-on-one support when my attention is divided between my other children.

About Michael
Michael is a happy, loving, and energetic young boy who thrives on meaningful interaction, sensory play, and outdoor adventures. Michael loves arts and crafts, messy play (such as sand and water), and playful physical games like being chased, tickled, or bouncing on his trampoline. He also loves his sensory bedroom swing and finds comfort and stimulation in sensory experiences. Outdoors, Michael enjoys visiting beaches, parks, and woodland areas, where he can explore nature and move freely.

Michael is Autistic and has a learning disability. He requires constant supervision due to a lack of danger awareness and a tendency to flee from caregivers.

An enhanced DBS will be required for this role and any offer of employment will be conditional upon satisfactory references and DBS.
