The Role

As a Personal Assistant, you’re more than just a friendly face supporting our Directors, you’re a valued source of support to them and the families. You’re a trusted go-to person, helping the business run smoothly behind the scenes, helping coordinate priorities, manage communications and supporting a wide range of business activities across HECK! We really couldn’t do it without you!

What you'll be doing

  • General Administration & Office Management: You keep the office running smoothly, managing day-to-day administration, handling confidential information with discretion and preparing documents as needed
  • Diary Management: You ensure Directors’ diaries are well organised and seamlessly balance travel needs with personal preferences
  • Finance Administration: Whether it’s processing expenses, invoices or credit card transactions, you do so accurately and on time
  • Board Support: It’s all about preparation. You coordinate and prepare for Board meetings, ensuring everything runs smoothly so members can focus on key discussions
  • Event Management: Helping plan internal events from team building to family days, you love it all!
  • Business & Personal Support: Variety is the spice of life and there’s no lack of it in this role. You provide a varied mix of business and personal support, helping ensure everything runs seamlessly
  • People Management: From time to time, you may oversee the work of small teams or individuals

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or similar role
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with bonus points for experience with inventory or ERP systems
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Discretion, reliability, and a genuine team spirit
  • An interest in the food industry or manufacturing is a plus (and a love of good sausages won’t hurt!).
