PERSONAL ASSISTANT | AGAINST THE ODDS MOVEMENT
I’m looking for a highly organised, proactive and forward-thinking Personal Assistant to join Against The Odds Movement.
This will initially be a part-time position, with the opportunity to develop into a full-time role as the organisation continues to grow.
This is a varied role for someone who can bring structure to a fast-moving organisation, stay one step ahead and help me manage the day-to-day operations behind the work we deliver.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing my diary, calendar and appointments
- Booking meetings, travel, accommodation and other arrangements
- Managing invoices and following up outstanding payments
- Keeping financial administration organised
- Working closely with the accountant and helping provide the information they need
- Managing emails, documents and general administration
- Following up with schools, organisations and clients
- Helping coordinate workshops, programmes, events and bookings
- Keeping track of deadlines, actions and opportunities
- Helping turn ideas into organised, practical plans
- Supporting the continued growth and development of Against The Odds

What I’m looking for
I need someone who is organised, dependable and proactive.
Someone who doesn’t just complete a task when they’re asked, but thinks ahead and asks:
“What needs to happen next?”
You should be confident communicating with professionals, comfortable handling financial and confidential information, and able to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
Previous experience as a PA, Executive Assistant, Administrator, Business Coordinator or similar role would be beneficial.
But experience isn’t everything.
I’m looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about the purpose behind the organisation.

You won’t necessarily be working directly with young people, but you will be supporting the work that reaches them.
So I want someone who can look beyond the administration and understand why the work matters.
Someone ambitious enough to grow with the organisation, professional enough to represent it well, and passionate enough to take ownership of what they are helping to build.
