Personal Assistant / Team PA – Investment Banking (M&A Advisory)

About the team

Our Investment Banking Advisory division provides strategic advice to corporates, entrepreneurs, financial sponsors and other clients across a broad range of sectors. Operating in a dynamic and client-focused environment, the team delivers high-quality advice on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and other strategic transactions.

As a Personal Assistant / Team PA, you will play a vital role in supporting a busy deal team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the business while working closely with senior professionals across the Investment Banking platform.

What will I be doing?

As a trusted member of the team, you will provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to senior bankers and wider deal teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing PA support to designated Investment Banking sector teams across a range of seniority levels.
  • Managing complex diaries and coordinating schedules using Outlook.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Arranging and coordinating client meetings, presentations, lunches and events.
  • Preparing, formatting and maintaining professional documents and presentations using Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Producing correspondence and supporting the preparation of client materials.
  • Organising domestic and international travel arrangements, including visas where required.
  • Maintaining client information and activity records within CRM systems.
  • Supporting weekly team reporting and work-in-progress updates.
  • Managing expenses and ensuring timely submission and processing.
  • Providing telephone coverage and administrative support across the wider PA team.
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Maintaining electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Supporting the preparation and distribution of regulatory announcements (RNS).
  • Providing additional administrative support as required within a fast-paced environment.

What do I need to bring?

We're looking for someone who thrives in a professional services environment and enjoys being at the centre of a busy team.

Essential experience and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or Team Assistant role.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English Language.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Advanced Outlook proficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Flexibility to support business needs, with core working hours of 8:30am to 6:00pm.
