Personal Assistant to the Agent for the Eaton and Halkyn Estates

We are looking for a Personal Assistant to provide proactive, executive support to the Agent for the Eaton and Halkyn Estates, delivering a highly professional standard of work, enhancing the effectiveness of the Agent to be able to deliver business objectives. This role will also provide support to the Estate Management Team (EMT) and play an integral role in ensuring that the team operates smoothly.

Located on the outskirts of the city of Chester and home to the Grosvenor family since the 1400s, the Eaton Estate is a leading UK rural estate. Focused on rural Cheshire, our activities range from managing and constantly improving property and places, to manufacturing sustainably grown British timber.

We are driven by an ambition to deliver positive change that contributes to the economic, social, and environmental wellbeing of the communities we are part of, through investing in the rural economy, promoting environmental sustainability and helping local communities thrive, with the purpose of addressing today’s needs while taking responsibility for those of future generations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive executive support to senior leaders, managing complex diaries, meetings, travel arrangements, and competing priorities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Prepare and produce high-quality correspondence, reports, presentations, and other confidential business documents.
  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support, including records management, information governance, project tracking, and managing departmental processes.
  • Support financial administration through purchase orders, invoice processing, and expense management.
  • Organise and coordinate meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, action tracking, and follow-up.
  • Assist with people-related processes such as recruitment coordination, training administration, and performance review scheduling.
  • Coordinate internal communications, briefing materials, and team events.
  • Build strong working relationships across the organisation, providing collaborative support to senior managers and wider teams.
  • Champion the use of technology and continuous improvement to enhance administrative efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide flexible cover and support across the wider Personal Assistant network and business functions as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
