Personal Assistant to an Adult at Home Salisbury

£20 per hour | Full-time | Approximately 36 to 40 hours per week | Salisbury (SP5)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and caring Personal Assistant to join an established team supporting a woman to live independently in her own home in the Salisbury area.

This is much more than a traditional care role. Our client enjoys getting out and about, gardening, hosting friends and visitors, and making the most of life. She is looking for someone with a positive attitude, plenty of initiative and a real get up and go approach. If you're practical, sociable and enjoy making a genuine difference to someone's everyday life, this could be the role for you.

What you'll be doing

You will provide a combination of personal, practical and social support, including:

  • Personal and clinical care
  • Supporting day-to-day independent living
  • Cooking and meal preparation
  • Housekeeping and domestic tasks
  • Driving our client's adapted vehicle
  • Supporting social activities and days out
  • Gardening and general DIY/practical tasks
  • Hosting visitors, friends and family

Our client has a spinal cord injury and requires support with all aspects of daily living. Previous care experience is welcome but not essential. Full training will be provided in our client's individual care and clinical needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
