Description
We are looking for an ambitious and talented individual to take on an exciting and rewarding role at TwiningsOvo. The purpose of the role is to be at the heart of the business, providing comprehensive and proactive organisational and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and over time, ensuring effective strategic delivery as a long-term collaborative partner.
We are looking for someone who is ready for the next step in their career journey; hungry for a diverse and busy role where you will have a confident mindset and would thrive with an innovative and learning approach.
This Personal Assistant role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and is based in Andover. Due to the nature of the position, when the CEO is onsite, we will require you to be present in the office. However, when the CEO is travelling, we can offer this role on a hybrid-working basis.
The Personal Assistant will have the confidence to operate independently, proactively and flexibly; supporting the CEO to plan ahead and in the delivery of their responsibilities. We would expect the post-holder to over time learn how to plan and anticipate the office of the CEO and how to best process information. This would enable the post holder to foresee, communicate and act on the CEO's behalf, allowing them to plan and work in partnership with their manager and communicate on their behalf and while they are in meetings or during travel.
Being a confident individual, you will enjoy working with stakeholders across all levels of our organisation, across different time zones and with people from many cultures, building networks and supporting colleagues. The complex diary arrangements will require you to have strong influencing skills with the ability to engage relevant people in developing solutions; your patience and flexibility will be advantageous in securing this challenging but interesting role.
We pride ourselves on challenging conventional thinking and supporting our employees in their journey at TwiningsOvo. If you share our positive approach, this is a career move that will open doors for you. We will ensure that you’ll gain experience across the business, and you will enjoy developing your skills and receive coaching from others to increase your capabilities within the role.
This is a fast-paced role with never a dull moment so being able to plan and prioritise effectively is very important. It would suit someone who is a self-starter: happy to take the initiative, work under pressure and anticipate the CEO and stakeholder needs in order to over time make independent decisions when necessary. The post-holder must be capable of critical thinking and encompass a desire to understand others across all markets and functions as well as external partners. They will document processes as they learn them for future reference, which helps them internalize the chief executive officer’s work requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Planning ahead is vital - the role would therefore suit someone who values planning, reliably sets and sticks to deadlines, and can plan and organise effectively in both short and long-term timeframes. The role demands that you constantly challenge the status quo to identify new ways of doing things – therefore someone who is open-minded to continuous improvement would be a good fit.
