About The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, highly organised and people-focused Assistant to join our growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with 1–2 years’ experience who is looking to expand their experience in a fast-paced media environment.
This role sits at the heart of the business, supporting CEO whilst we scale our business operations, whilst also providing support to our Office. You will play a key role in ensuring our CEO and senior leadership team are supported, our administrative processes run smoothly, and our office environment enables high performance.
This role is a dynamic blend of support, operational coordination and executive assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations
- Diary management – proactively schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings, anticipating and resolving conflicts to make the best use of the CEO's time
- Inbox management – monitor, prioritise and respond to emails, flagging priority items and drafting replies on the CEO's behalf where appropriate
- Meeting management – schedule meetings, prepare rooms and materials, and produce clear notes highlighting key actions and takeaways
- Travel management – manage all logistics for travel, including visas, necessary paperwork, itineraries and agendas, ensuring seamless end-to-end planning
- Event management – coordinate logistics for the CEO across all internal and external events, from planning through to on-the-day delivery
- Prepare and submit accurate monthly expense claims in line with company policy
- Support the preparation of Board reports and presentations
- Provide proactive, ad hoc support to the Leadership team as priorities arise
- Provide ad hoc support across cross-functional projects, helping to drive them forward
- Act as a trusted point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, exercising discretion, tact and professionalism at all times

Office Management
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office environment, ensuring a productive and welcoming workplace
- Partner with Work.Life to build and maintain a culture reflective of Platform Media's values
- Manage general workplace organisation, including supplies, equipment and vendor coordination
- Support health & safety and compliance requirements, helping ensure the office consistently meets required standards
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and building management to ensure the office is well maintained and cost-effective

What We’re Looking For:
- A recent graduate or 1–2 years’ experience in Office Management or administrative roles.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented and eager to take ownership of tasks.
- Confident working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong IT skills (Google Workspace / Microsoft Office).
