Role Description

This is a part-time Personal Assistant/Book-keeper role in a hybrid arrangement, based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with some work from home flexibility. The role involves managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, preparing journal entries, and assisting with the production of basic financial statements. The Personal Assistant/Book-keeper will help maintain accounting records, update accounting software, organize documentation, and support routine finance-related administrative activities. Responsibilities also include scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, preparing simple reports, and coordinating with clients or suppliers as needed to ensure smooth operations.

  • Strong bookkeeping and finance skills, including experience with journal entries (accounting) and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Ability to assist with the preparation and review of basic financial statements and support general finance tasks.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and related digital tools for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and administrative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to client and internal interactions.
  • Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or office administration is preferred.
  • Relevant qualification or training in accounting, finance, or business administration is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently, handle confidential information responsibly, and adapt to a hybrid working environment.
