Hours: 5 hours per week during term time, with extra hours available during school holidays.
Term time: 5 hours per week
- Wednesday: 2.5 hours
- Thursday: 2.5 hours
School holidays: approximately 7–14 additional hours per week
There may also be opportunities for some extra hours by agreement.
Rate: £13.41 per hour

We’re looking for a kind, fun, patient and reliable Personal Assistant to spend time with our lovely 7-year-old son, helping him enjoy his favourite activities, explore the community and have plenty of fun along the way!
He is a happy little boy with lots of personality. He is pre-verbal and tube fed and communicates using Makaton, so we’re looking for someone who is happy to take the time to get to know him, understand his way of communicating and help him feel included in everything going on around him.
This isn’t just about providing support — it’s about becoming someone he looks forward to seeing!

- Supporting with personal care and pad changes
- Supporting him safely with his tube feeding, following his established care plan and training
- Providing close supervision and keeping him safe when out and about
- Encouraging his independence wherever possible

Who are we looking for?
Someone Who Is
- Friendly, patient, dependable, caring and up for a bit of adventure!
You’ll need to be comfortable supporting with personal care and happy to spend time both at home and out in the community.
Experience of Makaton, tube feeding or supporting children with additional needs would be fantastic, but it isn’t essential. Training can be provided for the right person — personality, patience and a genuine desire to get to know him are just as important.
