We're looking for a Content & Personal Brand Manager to help build the profile of a growing business operating across cyber security and IT solutions.

This is a hands-on role with a clear commercial focus. You'll be responsible for creating content that gets the right people paying attention, builds trust and credibility, starts conversations and ultimately generates B2B leads.

The target market is primarily SMEs, with a focus on business owners, founders, and senior decision-makers. The challenge is taking what can be a complex or technical subject and turning it into content that is interesting, relevant, and easy to understand for businesses.

You'll own the content journey from strategy and ideas through to filming, editing, publishing, testing, and measuring results.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing the content strategy and personal-brand positioning
  • Building a full-funnel B2B content strategy, from awareness and credibility through to lead generation
  • Creating content that positions the business as a trusted voice across cyber security and IT solutions
  • Developing content specifically for SMEs, business owners, and senior decision-makers
  • Working closely with senior leadership to turn their knowledge, opinions, and experience into engaging content
  • Coming up with ideas and identifying opportunities for relevant, timely content
  • Filming and directing senior people confidently and naturally
  • Filming, editing, and producing video content yourself
  • Creating short-form video for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Developing YouTube concepts, titles, and thumbnails, with a focus on watch time and retention
  • Writing LinkedIn posts, thought leadership, and other social content
  • Repurposing longer-form content and video into multiple formats
  • Managing publishing and community engagement
  • Testing hooks, formats, topics, and posting times to understand what drives results
  • Working closely with sales to turn content and engagement into genuine conversations
  • Tracking reach, watch time, engagement, leads, enquiries, and opportunities
  • Using performance data to continually improve the content strategy
  • Travelling across the UK and overseas to capture content at events, client meetings, and other relevant opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for

  • B2B experience is essential, ideally within a service-led business.
  • Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can demonstrate that they've used content to generate B2B leads and commercial opportunities before.
  • You'll ideally have:
    • A proven track record of B2B lead generation through content
    • Clear examples of content or personal-brand activity that has generated leads, meetings, sales conversations, or opportunities
    • A strong understanding of the full B2B sales funnel
    • Experience marketing a service or solution rather than simply a transactional product
    • Experience building a personal brand for a founder, CEO, or senior business leader
    • Strong LinkedIn experience, particularly around thought leadership and lead generation
    • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
    • Strong filming, video production, and editing skills
    • Confidence getting senior people on camera and making content feel authentic
    • Experience creating short-form video across multiple platforms
    • YouTube experience, including an understanding of click-through, watch time, and retention
    • A test-and-learn mindset - happy to try new ideas, look at the data, and adapt
    • A commercial mindset - you understand that views and followers are useful, but leads and opportunities are the real measure
    • An interest in, or willingness to quickly learn about, cyber security and IT solutions
    • Flexibility to travel across the UK and internationally to capture content

The person

We're looking for someone who is creative, commercially minded, and genuinely hands-on.

Someone who can spot a good story, turn it into an idea, get a senior person in front of the camera, film it, edit it, publish it - and then look at whether it actually generated anything.

You'll need to be comfortable working in a specialist industry and finding ways to make cyber security and IT solutions interesting and relevant to an SME audience.

You won't be waiting for a detailed brief every week. We want someone who brings ideas, challenges what's being done, and sees opportunities to create content around what's happening in the business and the wider industry.

What success looks like

The aim is simple: build the profile, build trust, and generate business.

Success will be measured through:

  • Growing visibility within the SME market
  • Building a strong and credible voice across cyber security and IT
  • Creating consistent, high-quality content
  • Increasing meaningful engagement with the right audience
  • Generating qualified B2B leads
  • Creating new sales conversations and opportunities
  • Supporting the wider sales funnel
  • Demonstrating a measurable contribution to pipeline

If you know how to create great B2B content, build a personal brand, and turn attention into genuine commercial opportunities, we'd like to hear from you.

Handle actively welcomes applicants from under-represented backgrounds - we pride ourselves on attracting the best talent for every opportunity through a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
