Personal & Business Assistant
Farringdon, London | £28,000–£35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Do you take real satisfaction in keeping things organised, following through on every detail, and being the person others rely on to get things right? Would you like to build that skill into a genuinely trusted role supporting an ambitious Founder?
The role
OTP Group is looking for a capable and highly organised Personal & Business Assistant to support our Founder and Managing Director.
This is a varied, hands-on role covering emails, tasks, diary management, filing, financial administration and day-to-day problem-solving. You'll work from clear priorities and established systems (task trackers, meeting logs, weekly rhythms), so you always know what matters and can focus on doing it thoroughly and reliably.
Once you're familiar with how things run, you'll be trusted to flag issues, follow things through to completion, and use good judgement on the smaller day-to-day calls — always with a clear escalation point when something needs a decision above your level.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
