Remote AI Project for Personal Finance Experts
We are seeking experienced Personal Finance Experts, Financial Advisers, Wealth Management Professionals, Accountants, and Tax Specialists to contribute to a remote AI project focused on real-world household finance workflows and advisory tasks.
You will review personal finance scenarios, complete practical financial workflows, evaluate AI-generated guidance, and provide clear explanations grounded in UK savings, pensions, mortgages, tax, and household financial planning.
What You’ll Do
- Complete realistic household finance workflows involving transaction review, budgeting, account organization, and financial planning.
- Review securely connected UK financial accounts with personally identifiable information redacted.
- Provide expert guidance on ISAs, pensions, SIPPs, mortgages, savings, household budgeting, and HMRC Self Assessment.
- Assess AI-generated financial guidance against structured rubrics and identify inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading advice.
- Review financial documents and workflows related to filing deadlines, account types, contributions, withdrawals, and household financial decisions.
- Help improve evaluation rubrics and grading criteria used to assess personal finance outputs.
- Explain complex UK financial concepts in clear, practical, consumer-friendly language.
- Stay informed on relevant changes in UK personal tax, pension, savings, and household finance rules.
- Document findings and recommendations clearly for project teams.

Who Can Apply
Relevant backgrounds include Personal Finance Advisers, Financial Advisers, Independent Financial Advisers, Financial Planners, and Wealth Advisers.
We also welcome Wealth Managers, Private Bankers, Relationship Managers, Investment Advisers, and Financial Planning Consultants with substantial UK household finance experience.
Banking backgrounds may include Retail Banking Professionals, Premier Banking Advisers, Mortgage Advisers, Banking Consultants, and Personal Banking Specialists.
Accounting and tax backgrounds may include Chartered Accountants, Tax Advisers, Personal Tax Specialists, Tax Consultants, Self Assessment Specialists, and Accountancy Professionals.
Pensions and retirement backgrounds may include Pension Advisers, Retirement Planning Specialists, Pension Consultants, SIPP Specialists, and Retirement Income Advisers.
Additional relevant backgrounds include Mortgage Brokers, Financial Coaches, Financial Planning Practice Owners, Tax Practice Owners, and Finance Professionals with extensive experience advising UK households.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in UK personal finance, banking, financial advice, wealth management, accounting, tax planning, or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of UK household finance including ISAs, pensions or SIPPs, mortgages, savings, and Self Assessment.
- Ability to interpret financial documents and household financial information accurately.
- Strong understanding of UK financial terminology and common consumer finance workflows.
- Excellent written communication and analytical judgment.
- Ability to explain complex financial topics in accessible language.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured evaluation criteria.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Background
- Professional experience in financial advice, financial planning, wealth management, banking, accountancy, or personal tax.
- Experience advising UK households on savings, pensions, retirement, mortgages, investments, or tax.
- Professional credentials such as CFP, DipPFS, FCA-authorised IFA status, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA, or ATT are highly relevant.
- Additional qualifications such as CFA, CTP, or other finance credentials are valuable but not required.
- Experience reviewing advice files, financial plans, suitability reports, tax returns, or client financial documentation.
- Experience operating or working within a financial advice, accountancy, or tax practice is valuable.
This opportunity is ideal for UK finance professionals who can look at a household financial situation, understand how savings, pensions, mortgages, tax, and cash flow interact, identify inaccurate or incomplete advice, and explain the correct approach clearly and practically.
