JK Lawyers is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner to join our growing team.
Founded in 2012, Jones Kinvig Lawyers is a specialist firm of solicitors focused on personal injury litigation, including Road Traffic Accidents, Accidents at Work, and Trips/Slips. The firm is dedicated to providing a bespoke, high-quality “Red Carpet” service tailored to each client’s needs. Clients speak directly with a solicitor from the outset, receiving clear advice on the merits of their case and guidance throughout the process. JK Lawyers is committed to securing maximum compensation as efficiently as possible, with each case handled by the same solicitor/fee earner from start to finish to ensure consistency and the best possible outcome.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Personal Injury Fee Earner role based in Birkenhead. The role involves managing a caseload of personal injury claims, primarily arising from road traffic accidents, workplace accidents, and public liability incidents. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting initial client interviews, assessing liability and quantum, gathering evidence and medical reports, drafting correspondence and legal documents, and progressing claims through all stages of litigation.

The Personal Injury Fee Earner will liaise with insurers, counsel, and solicitors, negotiate settlements, and provide clear, compassionate communication to clients.
The role also requires maintaining accurate case records on Proclaim case management system, meeting deadlines and targets, and contributing to the firm’s high service standards.
Qualifications
- Experience handling personal injury claims, including road traffic accidents, accidents at work, and trips/slips.
- Solid knowledge of relevant personal injury law, civil procedure rules, and litigation processes.
- Strong client-care skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and empathetically.
- Effective case management skills, including organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research, drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement documents.
- Ability to negotiate with insurers and other parties to achieve favourable settlements.
- Comfort with using case management systems and standard office software. Knowledge of Proclaim is preferable.
- Qualified solicitor, legal executive, or experienced paralegal with a background in personal injury (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supportive team environment and meet performance targets.
