Personal Injury Fee Earner – Manchester – Hybrid – Up to £45,000

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services. As the Personal Injury team continues to grow, the firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner to join their Manchester team and manage a varied caseload of litigated Fast Track claims on behalf of insurers.

You’ll join a busy and supportive team with a steady flow of new instructions, providing strong exposure to defendant RTA and EL/PL litigation. The role offers excellent opportunities to develop your technical expertise, take ownership of your caseload and progress your career within a structured and growing department.

The Role:

  • Manage a caseload of defendant RTA and EL/PL Fast Track claims
  • Handle litigated matters from instruction through to settlement or conclusion
  • Assess liability, quantum, and evidence and develop appropriate case strategies
  • Progress claims in line with the Civil Procedure Rules and court procedures
  • Prepare pleadings, witness statements, schedules, and other legal documentation
  • Liaise with insurer clients, claimants, solicitors, Counsel, and other relevant parties
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure key deadlines and SLAs are met
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and commercially focused advice
  • Work collaboratively within a busy defendant Personal Injury team
  • Contribute to a high-quality service while managing a varied and demanding caseload

About You:

  • Experience handling RTA, EL/PL, or wider Personal Injury claims
  • Defendant-side experience is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation process
  • Experience managing litigated Fast Track claims
  • Confident assessing liability, quantum, and evidence
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and work effectively to deadlines
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team
  • Detail-focused, proactive, and commercially aware
