Personal Injury Lawyer

Yolk Recruitment is supporting an exciting recruitment campaign for a highly regarded national law firm seeking a Lawyer to join its growing Serious and Catastrophic Injury team in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced claimant personal injury professional looking to develop their career within a specialist team handling complex claims involving motorists and vulnerable road users, including cyclists, motorcyclists, and pedestrians. You'll have the chance to manage your own caseload, work on challenging and rewarding matters, and contribute to a supportive and collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional client outcomes.

This is what you will be doing

As a Personal Injury Lawyer, your duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Managing a caseload of Fast Track and Intermediate serious injury claims.
  • Conducting litigation on your own files from issue of proceedings through to trial.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.
  • Supporting and mentoring trainee case handlers, including case planning and training activities.
  • Attending networking events, participating in business development initiatives, and contributing to team meetings.

The experience you will bring to the team

You will bring the following experience to the Personal Injury team:

  • Previous experience managing your own claimant personal injury caseload.
  • Experience handling claims involving motor and vulnerable road users.
  • Strong litigation experience with the ability to progress matters through the full litigation lifecycle.
  • Exposure to complex injury claims including polytrauma, chronic pain conditions, and psychiatric injury.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and client management skills with the ability to work effectively to deadlines.
