About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and committed individual to join our Personal Injury Litigation Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop their career in personal injury law.
We welcome applications from entry-level candidates with a genuine interest in litigation, as well as candidates with previous experience in personal injury or civil litigation who are looking to progress their career.
The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team, assisting with a varied caseload of personal injury claims and developing their knowledge and experience throughout the litigation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the management of a caseload of personal injury claims, appropriate to your level of experience.
- Supporting cases from initial instruction through to settlement or conclusion.
- Taking instructions from clients and maintaining regular communication throughout the claims process.
- Assisting with the investigation and assessment of liability and quantum.
- Reviewing medical evidence, witness evidence, and other relevant documentation.
- Drafting correspondence, statements, and other legal documentation.
- Liaising with clients, insurers, solicitors, medical experts, and other third parties.
- Assisting with negotiations and settlement of claims.
- Supporting the preparation of cases for litigation where required.
- Monitoring key dates, limitation periods, and procedural deadlines.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently.
- Providing a high standard of client care and maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing positively to the wider department.

For candidates with previous experience:
- Experience in personal injury, civil litigation, claims handling, or a similar legal environment would be advantageous. The level of responsibility and complexity of the caseload will be tailored to the successful candidate's experience.
