My client is recruiting for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join their team across Leigh, Warrington, Westhoughton or Whitefield, Greater Manchester.

The Role

  • Managing a varied personal injury caseload.
  • Handling accidents at work, excluding most industrial disease matters.
  • Handling public liability claims including trips and slips.
  • Handling road traffic accident claims, excluding generally whiplash matters.
  • Handling clinical negligence claims, excluding cases against therapists and mental health practitioners where there is no physical injury.
  • Handling defendant personal injury matters, including uninsured defendant cases.
  • Managing matters efficiently and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the firm's offices.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and progressing matters in accordance with relevant deadlines and procedures.

The Candidate

  • Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE.
  • Have demonstrable experience in Personal Injury.
  • Have experience handling a broad range of personal injury claims.
  • Be confident managing a caseload independently.
  • Be self sufficient, organised and able to work effectively across a branch based structure.
  • Be computer literate and confident using relevant legal technology.
  • Have experience using claim management software.
  • Have experience using the Claims Portal, Court Portal and High Court Portal.
  • Have excellent communication and client care skills.
