Solicitor / Legal Executive / Experienced Paralegal – EL/PL Litigation
Location: Remote Working Available - National Offices
Salary: Up to £55,000 DoE
Contract: Permanent
Previous Experience: Defendant Employers' Liability and Public Liability Litigation
This team acts on behalf of major UK insurers and corporate clients, defending a broad range of Employers' Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims.
You will manage your own caseload of litigated EL/PL matters, with exposure to both Fast Track and Multi-Track claims. The position offers considerable autonomy, direct client contact and the opportunity to handle a varied range of defendant personal injury litigation. Importantly, the firm is open to candidates from different qualification backgrounds, placing greater emphasis on relevant litigation experience and the ability to manage claims independently.

What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a caseload of litigated defendant EL/PL claims, including Fast Track and Multi-Track matters
- Investigating liability, assessing quantum and developing appropriate litigation strategies
- Reviewing medical evidence, witness statements, disclosure and other relevant documentation
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, court applications and other litigation documents
Experience Needed

- Previous experience managing litigated EL/PL claims, ideally within a defendant insurance practice
- Good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and personal injury litigation procedures
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and make informed decisions on litigation strategy
