Personal Injury Solicitor
Location: Manchester City Centre - Hybrid
A highly regarded Personal Injury team, ranked in Legal 500 and recognised as a top employer, is looking for an experienced Solicitor to join its Manchester office. This is a great opportunity for a defendant insurance lawyer to handle a varied caseload across Road Traffic Accident, Employers’ Liability, and Public Liability claims while working within a supportive and ambitious team.
The Role
- Manage your own caseload of defendant fast-track and intermediate-track claims
- Advise insurer and public sector clients on liability, litigation strategy, and settlement
- Handle matters through negotiation, mediation, and litigation
- Exposure to a broad range of complex casualty claims
- Opportunities to support and mentor junior colleagues

About You
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX equivalent with 3+ years’ PQE
- Strong experience in defendant RTA, EL, and/or PL claims
- Good knowledge of the CPR and insurance litigation
- Confident managing your own caseload and client relationships
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Commercial, organised, and proactive approach
