🚨 Senior Personal Injury Solicitor | 5+ PQE | Hybrid
I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a leading law firm for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong track record in pursuer personal injury work who is looking to take ownership of a varied caseload, including both pre-litigation and litigated matters, from straightforward injury claims through to complex and serious injury cases.
The Role
You will manage your own portfolio of personal injury claims, with a strong focus on delivering excellent client care, achieving the best possible outcomes and contributing to the wider success of the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of pursuer personal injury claims
- Advising and supporting clients who have suffered traumatic and life-changing injuries
- Taking instructions and conducting meetings with clients and expert witnesses
- Analysing evidence and researching legal issues relating to liability, causation and quantum
- Drafting statements, pleadings and other court documentation
- Securing early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation
- Negotiating and optimising settlements for clients
- Managing cases through a task-based case management system
- Maintaining regular client contact and delivering a high level of customer service
- Contributing to the profile and development of the department through articles, case reporting and commentary
- Conducting technical and case reviews and providing feedback to management
- Supporting, mentoring and developing junior members of the team
- Working effectively within a target-driven environment

About You
You should have:
- 5+ years' PQE in Personal Injury
- A proven track record of handling personal injury claims, including complex and high-value losses
- A strong commitment to exceptional client care
- Excellent communication, negotiation and objection-handling skills
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using case management systems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
