Personal Lines Insurance Advisor

Our client is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Advisor to join a growing insurance brokerage in County Down. The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio across motor, home, travel, and specialist insurance, while building strong client relationships and providing tailored advice.

Based in Newry with a hybrid working model, the role offers a balance between flexibility and collaboration within a supportive team environment. The successful candidate will also benefit from working in a modern office setting.

The Role:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of personal lines clients across motor, home, travel, and specialist cover.
  • Handle new business enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, and cancellations.
  • Provide accurate quotations and tailored advice.
  • Work with insurer panels to secure suitable terms.
  • Maintain compliant records and strong client relationships.

  • Previous experience in a personal lines insurance role, ideally within a brokerage.
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines products and the insurance market.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • CII qualification, or progress towards one, is desirable.
