Support Worker – Permanent Position
Full-Time - Newcastle
Are you an experienced Support Worker who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and making a genuine difference in people’s lives?
We are looking for reliable, compassionate, and experienced Support Workers to join our friendly team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who already has experience in care or support work and is looking to develop their career within a supportive environment.
What you’ll be doing
As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support, promoting the dignity, independence, choice, and wellbeing of the people we support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality personal and practical support
- Supporting individuals with their daily routines and activities
- Promoting independence, confidence, and choice
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Supporting individuals to access the community and participate in activities
- Following individual care and support plans
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records
- Working closely with colleagues, families, and other professionals
- Responding appropriately to individual needs and changes in wellbeing

About You
We are looking for candidates who have previous experience working as a Support Worker, Care Worker, or in a similar care setting.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a care or support worker role
- A genuine passion for supporting others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, respectful, and compassionate approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
- A commitment to providing high standards of care
- The ability to follow care plans, policies, and procedures

Relevant qualifications such as Health & Social Care or a care-related qualification are desirable. Previous care or support work experience is desirable, but full training and support will be provided.
