A highly successful and growing professional services firm has a requirement for a Personal Tax and Trust Senior to join their team based in Newton Abbot as a key addition providing Personal Tax compliance, Estate and Trust Tax return and year-end trust accounts services, with increasing involvement in tax planning and advisory work as you progress and develop within this growing firm.

A highly regarded and expanding professional services firm, based in Newton Abbot. The firm has a successful and growing private client and trust department undergoing significant growth, acting for a wide range of HNWIs and trusts. Trust clients are varied, relating to investments, property portfolios, and other wide-ranging trust client needs. The firm has a growing private client offering servicing a range of individuals, directors, and other clients. The business is planning for the future growth of the department with a key addition. Description
Joining as Personal Tax and Trust Senior based in Newton Abbot, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and administrating Personal, Trust, and Estate Tax Returns and Trust year-end accounts
- Delivering a quality compliance service
- Taking on a portfolio of Tax and Trust administration cases
- Preparing and submitting annual self-assessment tax returns and computations
- Preparing documents and performance figures for annual Trustees meetings
- Preparing IHT100 and IHT418, SA900 returns
- Potential involvement in advisory projects
- Assisting on the delivery of planning solutions and developing your technical tax skills
- Maintaining direct contact with clients and HMRC
- Maintaining an excellent client service

Profile
For this Personal Tax and Trust Senior role, the firm is looking to consider candidates across a range of experience so you may:
- Be ATT/CTA or TEP qualified
- Be qualified by experience only
- Be studying for any of these qualifications
You will have a career background developed within an accountancy or legal firm, or specialist tax firm with at least several years of experience focused across any mix of personal tax and trust administration and will be looking to further your career within this field, within a growing, highly successful firm.
Job Offer
£35,000 - £46,000 + dependent on the background and experience of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
