Key accountabilities
As a Personal Tax Assistant, you’ll join our growing Personal Tax Hub and learn how to prepare personal tax returns for a wide range of clients. Previous tax or accountancy experience is not required – we’re looking for someone who is hardworking, personable, eager to learn and able to communicate effectively with people. You’ll be part of an enthusiastic and supportive team that is changing the way personal tax services are delivered. We use innovative technology to make our processes simpler and more efficient, allowing our people to focus on delivering a great service to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn on the job, develop your technical and communication skills and build a long-term career in tax.

Your Role
- Speaking and writing to clients to request information, answer queries and keep them updated.
- Managing your own portfolio of clients and workload to meet agreed deadlines and targets.
- Checking your work carefully to ensure it is accurate before submitting it for review.
- Working closely with your team to deliver an excellent service to our clients.
- Learning from feedback and continually developing your personal tax knowledge.
- Using technology, AI and automation to work smarter and more efficiently.
- Looking for better ways of working and sharing your ideas with the team.

What are we looking for?

- No previous tax or accountancy experience is required – full training will be provided.
