Personal Tax Assistant
A Personal Tax Assistant is needed in Darlington to support the tax department of a professional services firm. You'll help manage personal tax affairs for clients, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Description
- Prepare and submit personal tax returns for a variety of clients.
- Assist with tax compliance and advisory tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support senior team members with client queries and correspondence.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation.
- Identify opportunities for tax planning and efficiencies.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather required information.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the tax department.

Profile
A successful Personal Tax Assistant should have:
- Experience in personal tax preparation or a related role.
- A good understanding of current tax legislation.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with tax software and standard office applications.
- Working towards accounting qualifications such as ATT, ACCA, ACA.

Job Offer
- Salary between £30,000 and £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- 1 day of working from home per week.
