Personal Tax Assistant Manager

Description
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance and timely submissions.
- Provide clients with tax planning and advisory services tailored to their needs.
- Review personal tax returns prepared by junior team members for accuracy.
- Assist in identifying tax-saving opportunities for clients.
- Support the team with technical tax queries and updates on legislation.
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients to resolve queries or issues.
- Help develop and mentor junior team members within the department.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance client service delivery.

Profile
A successful Personal Tax Assistant Manager should have:
- A professional tax qualification such as ATT or CTA, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of UK personal tax legislation and compliance processes.
- Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
- Good communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Attention to detail with the ability to review and ensure accuracy of tax returns.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying opportunities for clients.
